We may also use personal information to protect against or identify potentially fraudulent transactions and to send you administrative information, such as changes in our terms and conditions or policies.

These distributors include MyFonts (dba Bitstream, Inc.), Fontspring, Creative Market and Font Bros. When you purchase one or more of our fonts from these distributors, we may view your personal contact and order information including your name or the name of the business or individual for whom you purchased a font license, your email, and the products ordered. This information is retained in order to maintain a record of licensing and/or order data. When visitors leave comments on our site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment. For more information, please see the Gravatar service privacy notice.

If you contact us, we may use your personal information such as your order information or contact history to provide you with assistance or to answer your inquiry.
Administering product giveaways, offers and events:
We may conduct product giveaways, contests and other promotional offers. If you participate, we will use your information to administrate such promotions and offers. If you win, we may ask you for further information in order to provide your prize. Some of these promotions may have additional rules containing information about how we will use and disclose your personal information.
We may work with a third-party to administer a giveaway, contest or other promotional offer. These third parties may process personal information on our behalf, that you supply, in order to provide your prize. If you do not wish to share your information with us or with affiliated third-parties, you should not participate in the giveaway, contest, promotional offer or event.
Sending you information about our (and third parties’) products and services:
If you have asked to receive marketing communications from us, we may send you newsletters, promotions, offers or other information that we think might be of interest to you. We use personal information to send you these marketing communications. We don’t rent or trade email lists with other organizations or businesses.
We use a third-party provider, MailChimp, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. For more information, please see MailChimp’s privacy notice. You can unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any such mailings or by emailing info@magpiepaperworks.com.
We will seek to comply with your request(s) as soon as reasonably practicable. Please note that if you opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us, we may still send you important administrative messages, from which you cannot opt-out.

We may use information you have provided to use to conduct data analysis, to improve the efficiency of our services, to conduct internal licensing, financial and legal or regulatory compliance audits, to monitor our site for fraud and security purposes, to develop new products and services, to enhance, improve or modify our current site, products and services, to identify usage trends, to determine the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns, and for the operation and expansion of our business activities so that we can best meet our users’ needs.
Legal purposes:
When legally required, particularly if fraud or identity theft is suspected, this information may be passed to the police or other appropriate authorities.

By doing so, you authorize us to facilitate this sharing of information, and you understand that the use of shared information shall be governed by the social media provider’s privacy policies.
