Rough yet refined! Vermandois was hand-drawn in walnut ink with antique calligraphy pens and then transformed into a robust Opentype font. It’s connecting letters, caps and ink blots make a mark in correspondence and stationery! Vermandois Regular includes contextual and double-letter ligatures, alternate caps, preposition & title word glyphs, old style numerals, international support, currencies and fractions. Vermandois Splatters includes 52 coordinating strokes, splashes and ink sprays.
One of my earliest fonts, Vermandois is a kinetic, artfully messy connecting script that excels in a variety of uses and sizes. Clients have incorporate the distinctive lettering into packaging and branding, film and television props, embossed chocolate bars (yum), and book covers. The font family includes both regular and extra-large capital letters, ink blots and splatters, swashes and a host of other Opentype features for bold, authentic-looking scribbles.
